Mardi Gras Parade - Voodoo Escape Room

Did you know that Mobile, AL is the original home of Mardi Gras? The EWRI staff has created a Mobile themed escape room, and we challenge teams to reverse the curse that was placed on the Mardi Gras parade, while trying to "escape" the room.

To succeed in an escape room, thoroughly search the room, communicate everything you find with your team, organize clues, and ask for hints if you get stuck. Pay close attention to the backstory and rules, look for patterns and things out of the ordinary, and don't be afraid to share ideas or try everything. Watch out for red herrings, because the sands in the hourglass are flowing...

Mardi Gras Shoe Box Floats

Create your own shoe box “parade float” using any materials that we have provided for you or that you brought from home. Feel free to cut, paste, color, & decorate in any fun way!  

When you have completed your float, please include your float in our parade, so the judges can see your design.

Please do not use glitter!
